Bucket List: Dubai
Here are some adventurous, relaxing, and unique things to do in Dubai.
Jumeirah
If you are looking for a relaxing bucket list experience, head to the city of Jumeirah. Some of the world's most beautiful beaches are right here. If you are looking to swim, dive, or surf, the Jumeirah beaches are the place for you! If you are still looking to enjoy the water but want more thrill than a beach, you could check out Wild Wadi Waterpark. Full of family friendly water rides, along with some water rides certain to get your heart racing. Wild Wadi is a great place to spend your day!

While in Jumeirah, visit the Jumeirah Masjid. Here you can learn all about the Islamic way of life, Arab culture and the mosque guides will show you how prayers are conducted.
Burj Khalifa
This is a must see landmark in Dubai. The tallest building in the world. You can not miss it when traveling in Dubai. 828-meters high with 160 floors! If you climb to the top, you are in for the most beautiful sights. My suggestion is to visit at night. You’ll get an extensive light show overlooking all the colors of the city.
The Dubai Mall
This is the place you have to shop when in Dubai! They split the mall into four sections, each with its own unique shopping experience. From Fashion Avenue for all the signature brands that you can find around the world, to Level Shoes for one of the biggest shoe selections you will ever see!

Plus, it is not just a place to shop. The Dubai Mall has the world-famous Dubai Aquarium, movie theater, ice-skating rink, arcade (with A TON of games), and an Underwater Zoo! It is a must visit and one of the best Dubai attractions.
Dubai Miracle Garden
One of the most beautiful Dubai attractions is the Dubai Miracle Garden. An interactive garden with attractions including the famous umbrella tunnel, a sunflower field and more. There is also entertainment, and over 30 dining options. Most of the garden is made completely from flowers and is one of the most beautiful sights to see in Dubai!
Dubai Butterfly Garden
Right next down to the Dubai Miracle Garden is the Dubai Butterfly Garden. It is one of the most relaxing things to do in Dubai. Home to over 15,000 butterflies Made up of 8 different domes, you could spend hours exploring each one of the different species of butterflies you will encounter! However, it is not just home to butterflies. You will also encounter a koi pond, birds, and there is even a kids’ movie theater. The movie theater often shows educational films, but also has a wide selection of Disney favorites as well! If you book early, your ticket will get you free popcorn or ice cream!
Aquaventure Dubai
This is not your average water park and if you are looking for some fun thrills, then you must visit Aquaventure. The world's largest water park, it is at the Atlantis Dubai and is jam-packed with slides, water rides and experiences like no other. Think shark safari! It has something for every member of the family and definitely tops the list of fun things to do in Dubai.

Desert Safari
Hop into a 4 wheel drive vehicle, take a sunrise ride on a 4-wheeler or ride the back of a camel on a Dubai desert safari. Many of the tour companies offer different packages, many of which include meals, an overnight experience and more on your tour of the Arabian Desert.
Old Dubai
Step back in time with a modern twist in Old Dubai. Visit the everyday market in Deira and stop in the Spice Souk while you are there. You can not miss it with the bright colors and aromas of all the different spices from around the world!

If you are a history buff. Head to Al Shindagha, where you will experience many historic places. You can visit the home of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum. He was once the ruler of Dubai and is actually the grandfather of the present ruler. There are also many museums in Old Dubai. The Al Shindagha Museum gives you the city's history in great detail and the Saruq Al-Hadid Archaeological Museum has many exhibits. Some dating back to the Iron Age, and the cool thing is, these artifacts were excavated from a dig site in the desert in Dubai!
